Our Nth Degree Club founder Robert Walton MBE is chairman of World Young Chef Young Waiter and Young Mixologis, where he has a vision to encourage all young people to consider a career in hospitality for their future.
World Young Chef Young Waiter and Young Mixologist works in partnership with UKHospitality and the GREAT campaign to find the best chefs, waiters, and mixologists aged 28 and under.
The competition launched in 1979 in the UK and in 2022 it expanded to include eight countries including Macao, Cayman Islands, Singapore and Canada.The World Final was held in Monaco with Albert II, Prince of Monaco in attendance.
In 2023 the competition expanded to 9 countries around the world and in 2024 we will see World Young Chef Young Waiter launching in 12 countries with a plan to reach every corner of the globe.
World Young Chef Young Waiter and Mixologists’ exclusive events raise funds for the World Young Chef Young Waiter Education Foundation and include the International Restaurateurs 'Dinner and Restaurant Association Gala Dinner and Awards, and the Hospitality Golf Classic.
