Nth Degree invites you to an exclusive private dining afternoon at Restaurant St. Barts, located in the heart of historic Smithfield Market, beside London’s oldest church, St Bartholomew’s (founded in 1123), and the city’s oldest hospital, Barts—still a leading centre for medical training.
Founded by close friends Johnnie, Luke, and Toby – the team behind NEST in Hackney and Nest Farmhouse in Norfolk – St. Barts opened in October 2022 under chef Johnnie Crowe (formerly of NEST, The Harwood Arms, and Anglo). In just two years, the restaurant has earned both a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star, a testament to its dedication to sustainable, produce-driven British cuisine.
The tasting menu showcases the best of small-scale UK farmers, growers, and conservationists. The space itself reflects this ethos, blending raw stone, wood, and soft fabrics inspired by the surrounding heritage. Tables are handcrafted by local woodworker Archie Faber using fallen London Plane trees, while ceramics- made in-house by co-founder Luke and artist Adrian Gonzales – draw inspiration from the British coastline.
